The piece " BESET" is about personal struggles in the mind. A piece dedicated to mental health awareness. The word beset means too much, too much of something negative, too much of that is heavy, the heaviness that hold us down. This project involved extensive research, brainstorming sessions. The work explores the intersection between movement and emotion, his performance will move the audience both physically and emotionally.

'The Movement' FINDING YOUR FLOW

Led a movement workshop for a group of dancers and non-dancers alike. This workshop focused on exploring the body's natural movement patterns and finding a sense of flow and ease in movement

"THE HIP HOP NUTCRACKER"

A remixed version of the classical ballet theater, a story with a twist communicated in hip hop vocabulary to the original Tchaikovsky score.

IMPROV DANCE PERFORMANCE WITH LIVE MUSIC IMPROVISED

Collaborated with a group of musicians to create a unique performance piece that explored the intersection of different art forms. This project involved extensive experimentation and improvisation, and culminated in a one-of-a-kind performance.

Her work is focused on exploring the intersection between movement and emotion, and creating performances that move audiences both physically and emotionally. With over 15 years of experience in the performing arts, Ann-Sylvia has worked with a wide range of clients, from small independent theaters to large-scale productions.
